This YSL cocktail ring is pretty cool huh?  I wish I wore rings all the time! I used to in high school but they were cheap so I always got feral green fingers, and its kinda turned me off rings in general.

So anyway I’m really keen to get some D.Co boots, the bluey, grey, inky coloured ones that have a little heels and stop just below the knee. I first saw them in R-P-M in Carlton but they only had them in a size 37 or a 41 [I am a 38] so then after work I went to Cactus Jam in QV and they had a pair of the brushed leather ones in a 38 but I was more keen on the suede. I also had skinny jeans on so it was really hard to see how the boots actually looked cause my jeans made them all saggy at the ankle, so I was like to the sales assistant ‘maybe I’ll come back on Tuesday and try them on with a dress’ and the sales girl was like ‘you’ll be lucky if they the weekend’ yeh cause I’m going to buy a pair of $500 shoes with out actually knowing if they look any good or not because otherwise I might miss out. So anyway she was like I’ll call hawthorn and see if they have the suede, so she calls them and finds out that they don’t have any, then goes on to have a conversation with the girl on the other line about another girl they work with who is a bit of a ‘dag’ ‘she doesn’t even wear make up, she just doesn’t make the effort’. I hate those shitty sales girls, who will just do anything for the commission, like Jesus Christ have some integrity. URGH! And she was one of those girls who wears like a pair of high waisted floral pants and thinks she looks super trendy, go have a look in the mirror ya clown!

BTW, they look much better in ink, not sooo bumpkiny!

The Texan super model Erin Wasson’s new jewellery line ‘lowluv’ really resonates with her laid back cali skater girl style. You could see her wearing the pieces in real life, which of course makes you want to wear them and hope you’ll look as cool as her. This bone one really floats my boat… can’t even express how much I dig it! 

These Tiffany bracelets are gorgeous. I’m thinking the preppy style would make a cute contrast to the grungy low luv bracelet if you had them stacked? I really like stacking thin bracelets, makes a nice change to chunky bangles : )

I also adore these types of bracelets especially with the bright coloured stones in them.

I am loving these colours for winter. I’m kind of getting sick of black so I thought I’d try and incorporate some colour into my wardrobe, mainly muted pinks and purples, creams, khaki and lots of grey. I love wearing head to toe grey in different shades, for a change to my usual all black look. I just bought this military inspired jacket from sportsgirl, just love the colour and all the bronze studs! It looks great thrown over anything, instantly updates your outfit. The Miu Miu dress and bag are pretty special and although I cant really afford it, I have lay-byed a Miu Miu wallet, which I will post when I’ve paid it off. These siren shoes are pretty tough too hey? Not sure if they will be more versatile in black or green though?

I love classic aussie style, quicksilver tees, board shorts, grey marle hoodies. I know everyone thinks they’re over done, but I’m not gonna lie I’ve got a spot for a trady with a Southern Cross tat. I was once picking up with a dude who had a boxing kangaroo tat on his chest, not the best I’ve ever seen but you gotta love a dude whose proud of where they’re from. Maybe I’m just sick of trendy Melbourne boys who think they’re European?

Yeh Wikifashion! I’m not sure where I found the link to Wikifashion but I am stoked that I did, its pretty much like Wikipedia but for fashion.  Its created by and for the fashion community where you can find and catalogue anything fashion related, so like collections, blogs, labels anything about fashion really.  Its not got much content at the moment so everyone should get on there and start contributing, I think this could be a really great fashion resource.

This is my first post its not spectacular, but its a start.  I decided to write about Romance Was Born cause no one else had and because you know they’re pretty epic and all.  I just stole the basic out line for the page from someone else’s post because I couldn’t really figure out their system but once I did that it was easy enough.  I nearly killed myself trying to upload pictures though, I was trying to just use my photo bucket pictures and could not for the life of me figure out why it wasn’t working, then I realized that you had to upload your photos to their thingy… its on the left hand side in the toolbox… just incase anyone is failing like I did. LOL. Anyway its heaps of fun so get on there and contribute!!!!
